Fixing stuff around yourself

For this project work, I was in my bedroom, exhausted and alone as always. Nevertheless, decided to look around. Didn’t have to look far away.

It surrounded me. The sheer mess and unorganization. It has been a part of my life for the last two years. I am alone and afraid. I do not clean after myself. The past week has been traumatic and hard. Cannot get the sound of my bestfriend crying out of my head.

Anyways, I push forward.

Before: messy & dirty (same as any given day)

After: atleast I have room to do my PW and attend my meeting

Moving on.

Object/thing I identified to be fixed:
My study table, or atleast that’s its intended purpose.
I needed to make space and away a few items.

How did you feel after completing this task?
Better I suppose. It might last. But given the schedule I’ve had, it can help get to things faster.

Would you have still done this task if we hadn’t asked you to do so?
Yes, it makes sense. Maybe not exactly as clean and tidy however.

If yes, would you have done it at the same time that you did it now? Why or why not? If no, why not?
No, I wouldn’t have. I would have procrastinated and promised myself to do it the next day or when the next deadline rolls around.

Notes:
This activity helps us realize how we can lead a change in our surroundings just by starting with ourselves and the things around us. Bringing a positive change, even on a small scale, is you taking charge and becoming a leader. Or atleast I hope I’ve made progress. The only thing this week.

I added a fairy light to lighten the mood. Will it work? Not so sure. I also rolled my blind to stop any wind breeze as my window doesn’t fully close.
